| The other change that has occurred in this area post the last Election has been to move control of reviewing and approving (or blocking) such requests has been moved from the Ministry of Justice to the Cabinet Office. This change was effective from 17 July 2015. Per recent articles in Private Eye (which as one would suspect is a big user of such requests), the Cabinet Office has long been one of the biggest abusers of complying with such requests, so there is it seems a concerted onslaught occurring? |
