"..I am absolutely convinced Hounslow treat people like this just to p*ss them off..."

Andy, there are reason why Hounslow treat us with such contempt

1. We are powerless to do anything. If we complain they ignore us. If we go over their heads they ignore that as well. If they try to answer us it just means more work for them so why should they bother? There isn't one single good reason why they should take the slightest notice of us.

2. "Well we can vote them out". Not if we live in Chiswick we can't. Hounslow Council knows that they have about 60 Councillors in total - 50 Labour and about 10 Conservative. All the Conservative councillors bar two are in Chiswick / Turnham Green / Grove Park. Both local MPs are Labour. So the Labour team in power knows they need to focus their time, energy, and budget on maintaining the support of their Labour supporters, and that does NOT include all the posh gits living in W4. They can continue to ignore us as much as they want and we can do nothing about it.

I bet that the council departments with Labour Councillors in charge have monthly competitions to see how many letters and emails of complaint they can generate from the posh Tory ponces in W4, and give out prizes to whoever can get the highest number. They know that the worst we can do is elect another tiny minority of non-Labour councillors at the next election so they can laugh at us all they want.

This is the result of having 50 Labour councillors across the majority of Hounslow area (Feltham, Brentford Isleworth, Heston) and 8 Conservative Councillors representing Chiswick & Grove Park.

Why the hell should they ever listen to us?
