If you prick us, do we not bleed? if you tickle us, do we not laugh? if you poison us, do we not die? Animals in Syria are subjected to the same horrific mutilations, poison gas and other horrors that the humans experience - but cannot flee and are not helped. In many other countries too they are deliberately tortured, poisoned, and suffer agonising deaths either from war or at the hands of people. At least the fools in Shakespeare had some wit and compassion. Here the people who hijack threads that are otherwise quite interesting are too stupid to do anything else as they manage perhaps to watch a bit of daytime TV as they stuff their cornflakes into their bloated mouths - and managing that is their total intellectual stimulation for the day. Then, perhaps as no one is paying them any attention, and they have no other plans for the day, they get one stupid finger out and tap out their silly views on here letter by letter. It is a tale. Told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, Signifying nothing |
