Andy On Turnham Green we have exactly the same problem every morning! The booze cans and bottles are mainly courtesy of a combination of, sorry to say this, Polish men and teenagers who congregate on TG from about 10pm onwards, they also enjoy the delights of wacky backy. However, from about 4.30pm weekdays there are groups of kids from Chiswick School who having purchased the culinary delights of Subway then just dump the food wrappings and drinks cups all over the green as well as a trail from Subway to TG. I know it's kids from Chiswick School as they are wearing the uniform. I just don't understand why some people think it's acceptable to drop rubbish and not place it in the bins provided - there's enough around! My other bug-bear are cigarette butt's - Bleak House Lane, that runs from CHR to BMP, is like a giant ashtray and that's mainly courtesy of the staff of 2 firms of estate agents, one in particular. I will refrain from naming and shaming at the moment. People just pick up your rubbish! |
