yes - quicker to go to Tesco up the A4, or I suppose to the other Sainsburys in Richmond ... Have to say I simply don't believe that Sainsburys were unware - maybe someone at HQ didn't tell the store manager, or it's a convenient story, but the lease or contract must have provision for notice in case of works. I've always found this branch rather annoying, not least when they closed the back door to the car park allegedly to prevent shoplifting, so we all had to go the long way round. But staff there often have poor attitude, in contrast (say) to Waitrose and M&S. |
