The owners of the car park have decided to resurface it and have closed Belmont Road access. Cars are being turned away in front of the barrier which is creating jam there. The vast majority of the car pack is inaccessible and blocked off. Access via the Essex Place entrance is painfully slow due to the lack of anywhere for the cars in front of you to go/park. Exiting is equally tedious due to the number of cars trying to get out either because they haven't got time to wait or they've miraculously parked, shopped and managed to get out of their parking space - most are blocked in with the queue of cars waiting to park ....
Sainsburys apparently weren't aware of what the owners of the land were going to do so there has been no advanced warning and no notices/plan of action put into place |
