| Just had an emergency visit to the vets, our dog suddenly whelmed with extreme pain on the doorstep going out for his evening walk, clutching his front paw. Quick 5 mins of us checking; quick call to vets; quick car ride to Ealing. Dog seen, analysed with no broken bones but probably sprained wrist, pain relief given, within 30 mins. I wouldn't like to say how long an extremely painful, but not broken, arm would take to be seen, with either NHS or private healthcare... . Thanks to Beth, at Youngs. Good to know some of the vets live ( or are housed) opposite the surgery HQ in Ealing, so genuinely on call, if anyone else has a local emergency. She was literally waiting on the doorstep when we ran up, with all the surgery facilities ready. |
