Yes, you can stop to pick up or drop off one or more passengers, including loading/unloading their luggage, provided that you don't stop in the bus stop or the taxi rank or the zebra cossing zigzags, or partly on the pavement. Picking up means stopping to pick up someone who is already there, but doesn't include waiting for the train to arrive. The best place to stop is on the double yellow line immediately outside the station entrance, but it's quite often used by Wheelers to unload their vans. |
