Don't worry about being cynical, I'm champion at cynicism. Although it was along time ago, it certainly did the business.
I currently have a Garmin I bought on Amazon (there are other suppliers as we're constantly informed). Covers UK, Ireland and all Europe. Cost less than 100 and has free lifetime updates.
Was certainly much cheaper than anywhere else I price checked.
I can't tell you whhat model it is because eldest daughter borrowed it about a month ago.
Before you ask, I also don't know if it is my life or the thing's life it is guaranteed for. (Just for the cynical among us).
