Rick is good at pan frying halibut and being avuncular on the telly on his jaunts but he is as much use as a chocolate teapot when it comes to nutrition (hence his wasitline)

Regardless of whether one is coeliac or not gluten has no nutritional value and consumption should be limited. It is the stuff of making glue and it clogs up the body.
It is everywhere and the combination of gluten with genetically modified dwarf wheat (bread cakes pasta biscuit etc) creates franken foods that are profitable for big business but detrimental to human health.

We survived for millions of years on a largely Palaeolithic diet before the agricultural revolution and now our constitutions use most of their energy and enzymes processing junk like gluten.

Eat real food. Mainly plants. Not too much.
