Re : No harm in trying. ____ what issue is being fixed here? there's no proof there's any kind of speeding problem let alone the fact that a blanket limit will make any difference. Yesterday and today drove up and down the high road, across it and just did a return trip to shepherds bush- in the (current) summer holiday light traffic I touched 30 mph once - there isnt a speeding issue. As for "trying it" well, lets spend £ 000's on a wasted project, presumably a load more on then making sure we all observe the ludicrous limit - more cameras- all funded by fines. We've been here before ( remember the "its only for the olympics bus routes and an cameras?!) This is the core issue of what the council's push is - making £££ WHy cant they spend time and money fixxing stuff that is needed - care for elderly/vulnerable etc |
