Peerage is questionable but The Lords is another. I say cut the numbers to around 100. To think Prescott can come down on the train for a bit of shopping with the wife and jump in a cab to sign in and then leave knowing he can claim the train fare and cab fare while pocketing in the region of £300 to boot is madness. Have you ever watched them on the Parliamentlive.tv The chamber will be packed around 2pm and pretty empty by 4pm. |
