They can't nail him on any wrongdoing.

As the police found out with the Kate Moss incident a few years ago (In the Powerhouse on Chiswick High Road, coincidentally), just because you have video of someone snorting white powder up their hooter using a rolled up banknote, it's not possible to PROVE that it's an illegal drug. It might be talcum powder. They had to walk away from that one and it would be the same here.

Apart from that, the fact that he likes to wear a bra and invite women of easy virtue back to his flat is his own business. You can't fire him for that.

If he was going to be fired for immoral / inappropriate behavior, or making old fashioned mysoginistic comments about women, or making potentially racist observations about Asians - well, you would probably have to go through the entire House of Lords and kick them all out. And most of the commons along with them.

So nobody in any senior position - either Lords or Commons - is going to support that. They would all effectively be turkeys voting for Christmas. SO they will accept his "resignation" and wait for it all to die down. As usual.
