| I have just had a piece of furniture delivered which when opened was damaged in two places. Fortunately and oddly the delivery man left the parcel in my front garden so I didn't sign for it. There was a large notice on the outside saying that if it was signed for and then found to be damaged they would not entertain any complaint. Who really checks a delivery, particularly a large item before signing for it. Could they possible enforce this? I am assuming as I haven't signed I should be ok, just curious. |
