| I asked my father, who was a great problem fixer and quite technical when it came to cars, household appliances, decorating and small building works etc, why he didn't use the mobile phone I gave him as he never responded to my calls or messages on it and he said it didn't work. I took a look and found out he hadn't switched it on. He was amazed that you needed to switch it on - as he said, 'Well, I don't have to switch my landline phone on.' A certain logic, I suppose... |
