Quite a true reflection. Empty shops and and a guy on benefits playing the machines. Shop down the road not doing so well but its because the machines turnover is not performing well looking at the books. We understand the governments concerns over the fixed odds betting terminals and will become more responsible with our own brand new Code for Responsible Gambling to meet those concerns. Basically they want to self regulate to stop the government getting involved and reducing its machine profits even more. The end product of responsibility is just telling the shop staff to tell its customers not to bet or not to loose so much. REALLY ? Guy making money to improve his house gets his bet stakes limited and then account closed down. Nothing new on that front. Coral trader on TV markets saying the market is hard to price up while i notice he has the BF market open on the bottom left screen to stop any Arbing occurring when pricing up. Copy and paste mate ? End product over the next 10 years is a huge decline in high street bookmakers which in my view is a good thing when knowing what they trade upon. Next week looks like its the on course bookmakers. With the machine at the ready they should not be loosing money or at least hedging the bets taken on the horses denting the book. With a 3-4 sec delay in pictures that improves in running |
