Once from Lands End to John O'Groats there was a shared language and culture and then our fertile and mineral rich island was invaded by ship loads of psychopathic illegal immigrants from what is now known as Italy. Alba is the Gaelic name for what we South Britons now call the land of the Scots or Scotland. Originally Alba meant the whole of the Island i.e. modern England, Scotland and Wales. The Scots were of course a tribe of Johnnie come latelies who invaded the land of the Picts (after the Italians had left) from the land known to the Romans as Hibernia (modern day Ireland). |
