Not walking off the platform? Many of his photos are taken from the street, as for Stamford Brook. Maybe at Chiswick Park he wanted to avoid the usual view of the circular ticket hall building. I quite like the platform-plus-tower combination, but it's photographic art so opinions will differ.
You're right about the "Turnham Green" photo. It is in fact the eastbound platform at Stamford Brook. I've emailed Ant Smith and asked him if he has a real photo of Turnham Green. |
