| We worked out that there are nearly 40 agents in W4 and environs. It would be difficult I feel for many of them to make a proper living unless they have a substantial management portfolio. I suspect many of the multiples must subsidise some of their operations. I am told c 1980 there were just 4 agents . I am not naming names but our recent experience of one Agent was just appalling even given the market for more expensive properties is clearly somewhat flat. A lot of twaddle - bogus buyers . Usual nonsense -why do they bother -what do they achieve by these type of porkies? Total lack of communication. We changed to someone where we don't have to deal with a 17year old where we are dealing with someone who has a vested and direct interest in selling our gaff.Time will tell.All are desperate for your business so beware and interview very carefully . To many u will just be a statistic on a sheet going to Head |Office . |
