I have not used Safari, but Free Open Source Software often has options to block pop-ups and adverts. Many sites demand that cookies are accepted, and some are automatically cleared when you exit, but others need to be removed by hand. I usually access websites using a computer running from a knoppix "live" DVD, so there is no junk remaining after a re-boot. |
