Isn't that the point? The years that the Heathrow arguments have been raging with the T5 opposition and all the rest of the proposals, if there were a overwhelming number of borough residents totally supportive of Heathrow expansion I'm damned sure we'd have known all about it by now. Successive councils have been against Heathrow expansion so why on earth waste the council taxpayers dough on asking a question to which you already know the answer? What purpose would it serve? Andy is right - political posturing, waste of time.
