Massive thumbs up from me for Gervase.

When I found out that our solicitor was going to charge something north of 10k to do the probate and IHT on my late father's estate, I decided to do it myself and enlisted Gervase to assist in an advisory role.

For a fraction of that sum he provided a fantastic service, helping over a number of weeks with drafting out the 20+ forms I needed to submit to HMRC, getting all the supporting documentation in order and advising on all the claimable allowances, some of which I had not spotted and which are many and varied.

Probate was granted within 3 months and final settlement with HMRC about 6 months later.

I still had to write an eye-watering cheque to HMRC but it was considerably smaller than it would have been without Gervase's wise counsel.
