Just been out to take another look. As I expected, 94 buses heading to the now closed Acton Green terminus are being diverted north up The Avenue after The Tabard stop, west along Southfield Road, south down Acton Lane with a temporary terminus stop at the south end of Beaconsfield Road. Meanwhile I finally received a reply in the last half hour or so from @TflBusAlerts stating: "...is just Bus stop closures and buses are not on diversion." They obviously have a different definition of 'diversion' to me. Meanwhile work is going on at the "leak site" - a hole in South Parade by the Duke of Sussex. The 94 bus terminus "loop" road is still open to eastbound traffic. Incredibly - or perhaps not - some westbound vehicles are ignoring the big "Road Closed" and "Diversion" signs plus the two "No Entry" signs by Le Vacherin and barging their way through the 94 bus terminus road against the legal flow of traffic. Photos to follow. |
