| Passed through Brentford yesterday and two things struck me: 1) The huge amount of residential buildings being put up, especially around the canal. 2) The huge amount of closed down shops on the High Road. I'm assuming that once the bulk of the new developments have opened, the likes of Tescos, Sainsburys et al will rush in to fill the gaps. Currently, it's looking a bit forlorn (though there is a nice fountain outside the town hall). |
