Gabriella, sounds like you might have triggered this little outburst from him. Did you walk over calmly and say "Excuse me, I just need to let you know I am in the process of paying by Ringo, in case that is a ticket you are writing out". Or did you approach him in a cross manner and say "Hey, that the hell are you doing? Don't you know the meters are out of order so I have to pay by Ringo?" If it was more the latter (you don't say, so we don't know), perhaps he was taken aback and responded in a defensive / aggressive manner? In an ideal world, we would all be sweetness and light to each other, there would be no abuse, and everyone would be living in perfect harmony. But of course, we are always rubbing each other up the wrong way, sometimes deliberately and sometimes inadvertently. It sounds like one of those little clashes that happen from time to time. If you try and make a formal complaint it will not get you anywhere. He will say you were abusing him and you will say he was abusing you. End of. My advice would be to ignore it and put it down to experience. If you get all fuming about it you will only make yourself cross and stressed. In the grand scheme of things, it really doesn't sound all that bad, they way you recount it. Just a few ill chosen words, no real harm done surely? |
