A few agents do indeed make a lot of money but the vast majority of people who sign up for these schemes (Avon, plus numerous other perfume / cosmetics / clothing / household goods businesses) end up paying quite a lot for their stock and "training", and then make no money at all. It has many of the characteristics of a Ponzi scheme. If you do enter into it, just be very aware that reaching the promised sales levels is never as straightforward as it might appear. Plus, your friends really will start to avoid you. |
