I was recently recommended this documentary by a friend. It follows the work of Stephen Jenkinson, also known as 'Griefwalker'. At first glance it could be said that the documentary is about death and dying but it's subtlety lies in it's teachings about life and living. How does contemplation and awareness of ones own mortality influence the way we live our lives? How does our view of death, in what is a death phobic society, affect our ability to truly live? Having watched the documentary I would highly recommend this to everyone and anyone. Mr Jenkinson's work and teachings are a breath of fresh air and his insight provides us with a platform from which to re-evaluate the attitudes we bring to life and death. http://www.cultureunplugged.com/documentary/watch-online/play/7728/GRIEFWALKER |
