I know the topic of the RSPCA has been mentioned several times on this forum and it does touch locals because of local rescue homes such as the one in Southall from which I know Chiswick residents have adopted, and because many people, I am sure some of whom live in the area, and of which until recently I was one, decide to leave a legacy to them.
There is a good article by Libby Purvis in today's Times about them which puts an interesting perspective on the organisation for those non-Times readers who want to go online and view it. |
