| I agree that Davis is an irritating presenter of Newsnight. His interview with Nigel Farage was a disgrace. I hold no brief for Farage or UKIP, but as a significant voice in the run-up to the election he deserved a hearing, yet Davis treated him with undisguised and sneering contempt. That incident alone should have led to him being removed. Personally, I'd like to see Eddy Mair doing the job on a regular basis, plus the excellent women presenters they already have. As for Top Gear, I don't watch it, but the BBC's handling of the whole Clarkson affair seems to have been particularly cack-handed. |
