| “After the urbane Zac she came across as something of an amateur.” Yes I wouldn’t dispute that Zac was the better speaker but hats off to Ruth for speaking and getting her points across. And it is of course ‘relative’. If you compared Zac to the Rt Hon Dr Julian Lewis MP, Zac would no doubt come across as an amateur but it would be fair to consider that for more than ten years Julian trained more than 600 Conservatives (including several current MPs) in campaigning and communication techniques. Ruth has been stuck in Fortress Lampton for 20 odd years and besides a few like Adrian Lee they aren’t exactly an articulate bunch. Far from it. |
