Oh dear Eva the list does not look that "free" to me since you have to buy something else first. You of course cannot control the prices but why do some stall holders generally price food over £5.00 it's the same with pubs selling a pint of beer for over £5.00. This is not value for money.Yes the selller needs to make a profit but when you calculate the cost price for what's on offer it becomes unfair. All these gimmicks such as pop up eateries on the face of it are fine until you see them in places like Hoxton wanting a fiver for a slice of toast with cinnamon! Buy 10 and get one free type offers are useless and let's also target those on low incomes rather than the "Waitrose" set who usually are not concerned with value. It's quite simple Apply the "Wetherspoons test" to your event to ensure the value is outstanding. You do need to be congratulated on organising the event and it's easy for me to snipe from my Parker Knoll ! |
