| Answer:because it would probably not have made the front page if the boy were not the son of an apparently well-known local resident (although I must confess I'd never heard of Beverley Turner before). Messages about stolen bikes are often posted on the forum, but they rarely make the main news article. NeighbourhoodNet is in thrall to the ridiculous cult of "celebrity". |
