Mark, if you only thought of this as an inconvenience, they must have been a very considerate gang of workmen. Our lot took up all the kerb space outside their house, along with building materials dumped on the pavement outside my house and the house on the other side of my neighbours. This took up the parking spaces outside the houses. They also had concrete pumped into the basement to form the foudations. The concrete came in the form of redimix, and it was pumped in from a lorry.A good percentage was also pumped all over my car. They didn't even bother to rinse it off.The skips the had delivered wrecked the cherry trees at the kerbside.Whole boughs were ripped off the trees when they lifted full skips onto the lorries. These were then just left on the road.Part of the alley that runs doen the side of our house sunk due to their excavations. As far as I'm concerned if the house is not bigger enough, don't buy it.Buy somewhere bigger to start with |
