| If you watch the video carefully there are several offences committed so it's pretty disappointing that our useless police & cps couldn't manage anything more than a £90 fine - not least given the regular reports of cyclists and pedestrians killed in London by careless drivers: - he's clearly driving too fast for the road - both he and the driver of the yellow car overtake on a roundabout - he doesn't pass with a cars width of room between his stupidly big car and the vulnerable road user - he actually hits the cyclist with his wing mirror (it's knocked in after he passes) and then has the cheek to scream at the cyclist for trying to knock his car - public order offence - threat to take someone's life after an assault involving a weapon (remember ...he actually hit the cyclist then stopped and threatened to kill him) He appears to be a complete psycho mentalist that should not be let anywhere near a driving license for several years. If you try and hit a stranger with a hammer you'll almost certainly get a jail term but hit them in a fit of rage with your 3 tonne car and you're almost guaranteed to get a slap on the wrist. A former employee has alleged that he MAY have been driving under the influence of substances based on his previous "good character" and all of this on the day when two drivers have been convicted of running over cyclists from behind - killing one and seriously injuring the other. Personally I hope we read about the demise of his "brew" outlets in the coming months. |
