| I have alerted Hounslow Highways management and complained to TfL, both on 28 May, and am awaiting responses. TfL seem to be hiding behind the regulations that prevent buses stopping other than at bus stops, despite regularly flouting that rule near Stamford Brook bus garage when buses change drivers, outside Firezza for example. All it needs is a temporary bus stop sign and several cones on the kerb, and that would discourage parking. By contrast, in Paris currently they are changing all the bus shelters for a more modern design, with bus stops being barriered off for two or three days all over the city. Despite this the buses without exception are continuing to find somewhere to stop while the work proceeds. |
