| Is anybody on here a motorcyclist ? Today I got the renewal notice for my bike insurance.At present it is insured with Hastings direct.I have been insured with them for the last 5 years and not made a claim,but the premium has increased sharply this year.For comprehensive insurance, this year it's £542, so I thought I'd see if I could get it cheaper anywhere else.I put all my details into Moneysupermarket .com and their computer searched 26 companies to find insurance for me.At this point I should say I have a perfect riding history.No claims, no convictions and 21 years NCD.Of the 26 companies that the computer searched, only 1 would offer to insure me, and they wanted £75331,72.Even the company I am with now wouldn't offer me a policy.So, does anyone out there have cheap bike insurance ? Please let me know if you do, otherwise I think I'll stick with Hastings. |
