| London Underground are maintaining one lift at a time at Acton Town station starting with the lift that serves the westbound District & Piccadilly lines. The eastbound lift will be worked on in early 2016. This means there will be no step-free access to/from the westbound District & Piccadilly lines from the start of traffic Monday 29 June until early August. Access to the westbound platforms will be via the stairs only. Westbound customers, requiring step free access to/from the Acton Town area, will need to use the step-free facilities at Hammersmith or Hounslow East. |
