|There were some reports about this about a month ago when Anthea Turner was complaining her account was hacked. There doesn't actually appear to be a problem with Uber's system but if someone can get access to your account log on and password and change the device associated with the account without you noticing they could book some rides. Seems a very risky thing to do because on each journey there will always be a possibility that the theft has been reported and you would be arrested when you get in the cab.|
A lot of these 'hacks' are probably just family members using the service and not telling the bill payer. Uber are refunding any journey booked fraudulently so your risk is minimal.
