The page on Ealing's web site about renewing your permit has been changed recently. The last time I looked (24th April) it read: Renewal reminders are issued in the following way: By email. This will be issued 28 days before the permit expires. In order for your renewal reminder to be sent by email, a valid email address is required. Notice there is no reference to how you supply them with your email address. This has now been corrected and you can now email them with a request to be added to their system. We didn't receive a reminder by email because they had never asked for our email address, and we didn't receive one by post because (from that web page) they don't send them by post any more. In my experience the only way to get a reminder was to phone them and ask them to send one. |
