Vanessa - well said. Claire - no not every utterance should be revered by him or anyone else, and I don't believe I've implied that much less said that. But Prince Charles does an enormous amount of good work and has many good, common sense ideas that he puts into practice. For example, Duchy Foods which not only provides organic food for everyone to enjoy but has created jobs. It was such a good idea that Waitrose bought into it! Also Duchy meat products are the only non- Halal and Kosher meats that can be purchased in Waitrose - all Waitrose's other meat products, save Pork, are butchered in accordance with Halal / Kosher traditional methods. As far as his fox hunting in years gone by is concerned I think you'll find that he has changed his opinion on that, much the same as I did many years ago. Prince Charles and the Royal Family should also be given credit for their good works, and not just pilloried for what they do that we don't agree with - a fair crack of the whip and all that.... |
