Nice simple answer from Nigel as ive just tested it.

My way was the best way to get a good helpful response from BT overriding the new Delhi HQ which just respond from the manual and the code of conduct set out. Money off monthly plan  plus a refund backdated with and apology was my result and daily emails to keep me updated.
