I typed 'the surname Purple' into the search bar and up came the history of the surname Purple and naming an Edward Purple. If you are interested, you could try that tack with any colour you can think of. Something silly - I once worked with a Mrs Brown who, before marriage, was Miss Brownless. (I also went to school with a Miss Batho who when she got married became Mrs Bath.) |
