Well, you can try holding the developers responsible for where pigeons choose to roost / congregate, but I'm pretty sure you will get no joy on that front. If you have a pigeon / pest problem, don't waste your time trying to find someone to blame. Honestly, you won't get anywhere with that. Get in touch with a pest controller, either privately or through the council (I think they still do this?) and ask them to come and assess the problem and advise you on what steps you can take. I've never heard of "pigeon proofing" a property, I'm not at all sure what that might entail. The only successful example of this is in Trafalgar Square, where they have Falconers every morning who fly hawks, which keep the pigeons away. I'm not sure how practical that would be for a private residence. |
