Non-Euro VI buses will be banned in central London in 2020, apart from (curiously) the first 300 New Routemasters, which are only Euro V but it would be too embarrassing to admit aren't that green after all.

Euro VI buses are almost as good as electric buses, which Amsterdam is already moving to in bulk, and by 2020 will probably be the standard bus anywhere.  There'll still be someone on here or the Putney forum refusing to admit that air pollution is anything to do with their nice comfortable car and blaming buses, mind.
