| Apparently the Prime Minister thinks Boris Johnson, a manifest incompetent who presided over the £1.5bn overspend and late delivery of a resignalling project, carpeted London in pointless luxury skyscrapers and has wasted millions on pointless vanity projects, is just the chap for some sort of national infrastructure czar role. 'In his interview, the Prime Minister dropped his biggest hints yet that he sees Boris Johnson as a Conservative leader-in-waiting. He said Mr Johnson would serve “at the highest level” and it was “good” that mayors become prime ministers in other countries. He also hinted Mr Johnson could get the infrastructure job in Cabinet that he has lobbied for.' Are they trying to lose, or something? *flees the country* |
