I'm not sure 'they're late anyway so there's no harm in making them later' is accepted practice in any railway operating manual. [longer end to end journey times reduce capacity, as a moment's thought tells you. SWT *skip* stops sometimes on the Hounslow line if trains are late, they don't add new ones] |
