That is the thing though, stopping the Piccadilly line at Turnham Green doesn't increase service levels on the line as a whole. Per weekday, 19,000 people would have a shorter journey time, 123,000 people would have a longer journey time so the overall cost/benefit is negative. The previously mentioned changes to the network changes the associate cost/benefit and so an all day stop can be justified. |
