A man in his forties, white with short dark hair, came to our door this evening saying he was one of our dustbin men and collecting for Great Ormond Street Hospital as one of his team's son was ill. Although he was wearing a blue Great Ormond Street Hospital t-shirt and had an id badge, which looked official, I believe he's a fraud. He was asking for cash or cheques and had a list of other people in the street who had donated.
We've contacted the police. Just be aware and it might be worth contacting the police if he calls. |
