thanks Nigel, I'll try leaving it on permanently. But I would add that the off and on scenario has worked perfectly well for months and the BB connection, until now, has not been dropping. I really do suspect that the copper line to the cabinet has another fault in it - this has happened quite often in the past. btw the connection speed now is 10.25mpps - but I am on the standard connection not Infinity. Is this speed normal? The cabinet is quite near. |
