I know it's not at a BA airport, but the tour we did was so good, maybe others are interested. From Wilderswil (Switzerland) there is a mountain railway to Schynige Platte and a refuge there. Then walk to Faulhorn and then First - then down to Grindelwald - it's all high, easy and beautiful walking in the shadow of the Eiger. To continue go up to Mannlichen, Kleine Scheidegg, across to Lauterbrunnen, then if you have time then up the Schilthorn and down into Griesalp. It took about a week of fairly easy hiking to do all this, when I was younger :-). http://map.wanderland.ch/?trackId=214846&layers=WanderlandRoutenNational,WanderlandRoutenRegional,WanderlandRoutenLokal,Wanderwegnetz&karte=0.75 |
